FIVE19 began working with Montereau in the summer of 2019. That fall, we swiftly undertook the development of a comprehensive and impactful traditional advertising campaign across digital, print, and television platforms—an initiative the community had never previously engaged in.
Our inaugural campaign centered on the concept of home. Many seniors mistakenly believe that remaining in their residences post-retirement is more economical and convenient. However, they often overlook the substantial costs and time commitments associated with home maintenance and repairs. To illustrate this point, we depicted a day in the life of a couple overwhelmed by a relentless array of chores and the chaos their home entails. We contrasted this reality with the surprisingly affordable and significantly less burdensome lifestyle offered at Montereau.
To enhance the television component, we designed split-page print advertisements—one side portraying the senior grappling with household tasks, repairs, and expenses, while the other showcased the diverse opportunities for enjoyment and leisure available at Montereau.
